Ich fühle mich zutiefst geehrt, dass eine meiner Fotografien für Chanel Haute Couture in der Ausstellung Culture CHANEL: The Woman Who Reads im renommierten Ca’ Pesaro – Galleria Internazionale d’Arte Moderna in Venedig gezeigt wurde.
Die Ausstellung, kuratiert von Jean-Louis Froment, lief vom 17.09.2016 bis 08.01.2017.
Culture CHANEL: The Woman Who Reads widmete sich den literarischen Einflüssen, die Gabrielle Chanels kreatives Universum geprägt haben. Gezeigt wurden rund 350 Werke – darunter persönliche Bücher von Homer, Plato, Dostojewski, Mallarmé, Rilke und Cocteau, seltenes Archivmaterial, Fotografien sowie Kunstobjekte aus Chanels Pariser Apartment.
Es war ein außergewöhnlicher Moment, meine Arbeit in einem Umfeld zu sehen, das Künstler wie Man Ray, Picasso und Dalí inspiriert hat.

Culture CHANEL: The Woman Who Reads – Ca’ Pesaro, Venice
Curated by Jean-Louis Froment, the exhibition Culture CHANEL: The Woman Who Reads at the prestigious Ca’ Pesaro gallery in Venice explored the profound literary influences on the creative universe of Gabrielle Chanel. The exhibition featured around 350 pieces, including personal books by Homer, Plato, Dostoevsky, Mallarmé, Rilke, and Cocteau, as well as photographs, archival materials, and art objects from Chanel’s Paris apartment.
I am honored that one of my photographs for Chanel Haute Couture was featured in this exceptional exhibition—an extraordinary moment to see my work in a setting that has inspired artists like Man Ray, Picasso, and Dalí.
